the worst hotel we ever stayed in. hasn't been updated in decades, feels like an old Russian style apartment building with a scary elevator. No reception - you pick up keys from a nearby hotel. The room smelled of cooked cabbage, and could not be aired out. View of a shaft going several stories down. No decorations or pictures on the walls, ok, we can live without that... but the stained carpet, and the upholstery completely worn through on the single chair? Yikes. Thankfully only stayed one night, otherwise we would have looked for something else.
