A former summer residence of the the countess of Schaumburg Lippe, the small but stylish Villa Basileia is peacefully situated on the bank of the Teplá river, close to the spa area. The Villa Basileia offers massages right on the premises, as well as a whirlpool, pearl baths and an infra-red cabin. Medical care is available on site as well. Swimming pools are in the vicinity in the Basileia. A fine buffet breakfast is served. During the summer months the pleasant garden seating area with a pool, a sun deck and a garden grill invites you to relax. Thanks to the hotel's position, it is ideal for jogging and as a base for hiking and cycling tours. There are a number of golf courses and tennis courts within easy reach. Karlovy Vary is the place of the International Film Festival and Villa Basileia is situated close to the cinema halls.
