A former summer residence of the countess of Schaumburg Lippe, the small but stylish Villa Basileia is peacefully situated on the bank of the Teplá river, close to the spa area. Thanks to the hotel's position, it is ideal for jogging and as a base for hiking and cycling tours. There are a number of golf courses and tennis courts within easy reach. Karlovy Vary is the place of the International Film Festival and Villa Basileia is situated close to the cinema halls.
