B&B (Pension) Villa Basileia - guest reviews and rating

The former residence of countess von Schaumburg-Lippe is located on the right bank of the Teplá river between the Parkhotel Richmond and the Grandhotel Pupp.

The rooms are equipped with bathrooms with a shower or a bath and toilet,  TV set with satellite connection, radio,  minibar, safe, WI-FI and tea and coffee making facilities.

We can offer you massages, whirlbaths or pearlbaths in-house. In summer month the pension offers outside seats in the garden with a swimming pool and a terrace. We offer an afternoon café and a bar for the hotel guests and their friends. Evening at the grill can be a pleasant ending of a summer day.

The pension has its own closed parking lot available.

    We stayed at the Villa Basileia for the second time for the year. As we live the same room I can say that now the shower don't leak on the floor :)
    The breakfast is normal as for Russian measures, but the coffee from the coffee machine is poor.
    The attractive thing is the location of Villa at the egde of the pedestian area of Karlovy Vary.
    It is original to park the car in the garden of the near church :)

    • lack of lift - difficult for the aged people to reach the 2rd stage

    Well located but the room and the bathroom were quite disappointing:I found 2 spiders in the courtains, the towels were the oldest thing I have ever seen and the bathroom very poor. The staff was inexistance and the breakfast simple.

    In general the accommodation was good, the service was average. On arrival the one person was very rude and did not want us to use the door closest to the parking to carry the luggage to the room.
